Sonar technology

Our 360 & up and downwards sonar technology, provides optimal safety thanks to the object avoidance algorithm and ranging capabilities. This sonar will also tag each image for in-image measurements. Besides these features, this technology is able to lock the UAV’s position based on a defined distance to the object.

LiDAR technology

This Lidar, located at the top front of the smartdrone, makes autonomous flights extra safe thanks to the object detection and avoidance. Once an object is detected by our LiDAR, it will adjust the flight path so it can continue its flight plan safely. With a wide viewing window, divided in 8 segments, this LiDAR is capable to detect multiple objects and determines sizes and distances to make the right choice.

Smart user interface

Our new user-interface with an integrated touchscreen and real time data-downlink gives a whole new FPV-operating experience. Combining the old-school controls with a smart touchscreen computer allows in-flight adjustments of the sensor, data reviewing, data processing and 3D flight planning. >12Mb datalink

CM precise RTK

With anti jamming Real Time Kinematic satellite navigation our smartdrone has a cm precise positioning and heading alignment. Also the cm-presice gps information from the smartdrone is added in the metadata of all captured data.

Foldable rotor arms

Having a 147cm diameter when in flight-mode we made the smartdrone easy to transport & handle thanks to the foldable motor-arms and landing-legs. The aluminium motor and ESC housing are rugged and functional as a heatsink.

Aluminum core

The ID8 is made with an aviation-grade aluminium that balances the weight and strength of the core optimally. Its fundamental for its solidity.
